Topographical survey for design
Where site levels, slopes and existing physical features affect the design, a topographical survey can provide measured information for the project team. The required detail should be agreed with the architect or engineer.
Land parcel and boundary information

Construction setting out
Once approved project drawings are ready and construction is starting, construction setting out transfers the required positions, axes, reference points and levels from the drawings onto the site.
Engineering survey requirements

What should you send for a quotation?
Send the Google Maps pin/site location, approximate plot size, available land or survey plan, architectural/site drawings if available, and any survey brief or checklist issued by your architect, engineer, consultant or authority.
This helps avoid quoting the wrong survey or promising a document that is not actually required for your project.
